Accountable for operation of the Commercial Lines Department, including management of staff, customer service, and carrier relations. Develop a strong relationship with the client as their primary contact and enhance the agencys relationship with client. Meet the clients risk management needs, plan and execute the renewal, marketing, and daily service items
College education desirable or equivalent Property and Casualty experience.
Effective communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
Maintain Property and Casualty License and comply with all Continuing Education requirements or commitment for license with in three months.
Must maintain a valid drivers license.
Understanding of Commercial Insurance operations; insurance management experience of no less than two years; Commercial Insurance operations experience of no less than seven (7) years.
In-depth knowledge of insurance agency automation systems.
Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures.
Ability to train others in insurance operations.
Ability to handle high-pressured, fast-paced environment with significant telephone and personal disruption.
Has a high degree of self-discipline and motivation.
Demonstrates skills of persuasion and negotiation.
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality in all matters.
