VWR is a great place to work and we look forward to adding more outstanding members to our Company!JOB DESCRIPTIONBasic Purpose of Position:Assist Corporate Consolidation Team with the monthly worldwide consolidation, analysis of foreign operations, internal management reporting and analysis, and special projects as necessary.Major Responsibilities and DutiesAssist in monthly worldwide financial consolidation. Tasks Include: Verifying the appropriate foreign exchange rates are utilized in the consolidation. Ensuring intercompany and investment accounts appropriately eliminate. Preparing and processing post-closing journal entries.Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports and analysis (Management Book) for use by senior management in measuring company and segment performance.Tasks include: Extracting financial data from the consolidation system. Preparing analysis of actual results to budget and prior year. Preparing various analyses of internal reporting metrics. Assist in the administration of the data collection (Hyperion FDM) and consolidation (BCS an SAP product) systems.Tasks Include: System access maintenance Chart of account changes Company hierarchy and structure changes Assistance with consolidation system implementations Provide support to the external reporting function.Tasks include: Providing consolidated financial reports for use in preparation of external filings. Performing analysis/roll-forwards of significant accounts to support external finance presentation and disclosures. Gathering internal representations to support quarterly certifications. Provide financial data and analysis upon request to support various Corporate departments (including External Reporting, FP&A and Tax) and international legal entities. Participate in quarterly conference calls with reporting entities to ensure reported data has received the appropriate accounting treatment. Assist with special projects as they arise.
