This position requires an individual who can creatively and efficiently maximize all of Comcast Networks Sales and Golf Channel's assets in order to generate sponsorship and partnership revenue which reflects Comcast Networks Sales strategic objectives and focuses on key company initiatives.
- Formulate and cultivate partnership relationships with; Senior marketing executives in the golf industry at client level as well as Media Director, Account Executive, Planner & Media Buyer. - Generate revenue through traditional and non-traditional channels including client direct, marketing funds, event funds, promotional funds, advertising agency, upfront budgets, scatter Budgets - Process; provide solutions; solve problems; maintain key customer contacts; maximize use of inventory and pricing - Staffing and development - foster personal and professional development - Demonstrate adaptability/versatility; resourcefulness; manage expectations; initiate change proactively; executes change strategies - Build and design a successful strategy/action plan; proactive/visionary; utilize all assets and resources for maximum effectiveness - Perform periodic performance reviews to determine employee eligibility for, among other things, merit increases, bonuses and promotional and transfer opportunities. Interview, evaluate, hire, lay-off, promote and reward employees and/or applicants or effectively recommend such actions. - Provide feedback, coaching and disciplinary action (up to and including termination or discharge of employment) to employees, or effectively recommend such actions, to help improve employee performance. - Resolve and adjust employee concerns and grievances. - Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred. Extensive, directly related experience and self-study may be considered in lieu of degrees. - 7 + years sales/ sale management experience required - Established network of contacts and relationships within the ad sales business community. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent executive-level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills. - Ability to travel as necessary.
