Experience:
AA Degree or equivalent work experience. 8-10 years professional experience. Building code certifications desirable. Strengths in large-scale government buildings experience.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Ability to communicate orally and in writing with contractors, clients, design engineers, and public agency officials.
Degrees / Licenses: Building code certifications preferred.
Duties Reads and interprets plans and specifications. Performs daily Quality Assurance inspections of building structural, mechanical, electrical systems and all interior finishes. Monitors onsite soils, concrete, and steel testing. Completes inspector daily reports and maintains all project documentation onsite. Assists designer in resolving field construction issues.
