Assists with the ongoing design and operations of the informantion Technology Help Desk and related software. Assists with technical support issues on software, application, PCs. Printers and LAN suport. Answers Help Desk calls from users; open service request tickets for all calls. Provides technical support to callers over the phone, visiting the callers, or by taking remote control of desktop. Documents the resoultion process and omnitors Help Desk email box and voice mailbox. Ensures that Hlep desk data base for open tickets and follows up with suppport anaylsts on open /past due calls. Performs other related duties as directed but the Director of information Technology. Must have a BA degree, A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications preferred. Must have a minimum of two yrs experience providing help desk support. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products. Must have experience with networked desktop and laptop systems. Must have excellent written and oral communication; customer services, and telephone skills. Must be able to interact with management, technical staff, and users. Must be an excellent team player. Additional experience in any other the following areas: administrative Active Directory, Microsoft office suite, Microsoft email/calendaring, Microsoft windows 2k and XP workstations. SMS, Symantec Antivirus, Terminal Services, and TCP/ip
