The role of Corporate Compliance Training is to ensure the appropriate level of knowledge of Compliance-related corporate policies is obtained by all staff. The Sr. Learning Specialist position will partner with LCBE staff, policy owners, business managers, the Learning Organizations and others to identify compliance and regulatory training needs and develop and maintain corresponding training materials and courses. The incumbent in this role must:
ııı Demonstrate experienced knowledge of instructional design and training methodologies in the following areas:
ııı Adult learning theory
ııı Needs Analysis
ııı Content Analysis
ııı Learning objectives
ııı Application exercises / Interactivity
ııı Learning Assessments
ııı Course Evaluation (Kirkpatrick)
ııı Design and develop scenario-based course storyboards and/or modules, for regulatory and Compliance-related policy and procedure content for web-based, virtual classroom, blended learning and traditional classroom delivery formats.
ııı Redesign existing PowerPoint formatted Compliance-related training content into web ready interactive training modules or tutorials
ııı Develop and deliver traditional classroom-based training in Compliance-related subjects as needed
ııı Develop assessment questions based on course learning objectives to measure learning transfer
ııı Work with policy owners to monitor changes in regulations or policies and update / revise related training materials as necessary
ııı Create on-the-job training aids and presentations covering policy related topics to be delivered by non-training professionals
ııı Manage the beta and pilot test process for new Compliance-related courses and incorporate changes as necessary
ııı Gather data and complete analysis of post implementation feedback and measures of success
ııı Create deployment plans and schedules for Compliance Training owned or purchased courses and presentations including:
ııı Obtaining the required content review sign-offs from policy owners, subject matter experts, Law and Compliance, as applicable
ııı Setting the target audiences, completion requirements
ııı Managing translations
ııı Determining the rollout schedules
ııı Ensuring appropriate integration with the learning management and reporting systems
ııı Work with the appropriate subject matter experts to assist in developing the tiered curriculum by identifying the Compliance-related policy learning requirements for selected job categories (employee level and function) and maintaining the corresponding learning and curriculum plans.
ııı Assist in or complete the technical development of web-based modules and presentations
ııı Assist in the development and implementation of the Enterprise Compliance Training strategy and global curriculum.
ııı Assist in the evaluation and SME review of purchased courseware; manage the approval process, if selected.
ııı Participate in the design of reusable instructional and assessment question templates and department standards
ııı Manage vendor contracted design and development projects, as needed
ııı Contribute to developing tools and aids for use by the Compliance Training Department staff
ııı Contribute to developing relevant compliance policies and procedures applicable to the Compliance Training function
ııı Represent Corporate Compliance Training on Learning Councils and/or other training committees as needed
