The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing varied frontline, check cashing and Slot Booth functions in a pleasant, efficient, an honest manner. The incumbent will also be responsible for security of all funds entrusted during his/her shift. Accurately count money . Accurately process Fast Cash ticket redemption. Successfully process Check Cashing transactions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers. Exchange foreign currency, coins, tokens or gaming chips for customers. Ability to move coin bags and rack of chips. Redeem guest coupons. Provide excellent customer service. Desire to effectively work with all levels of employees in the casino . Ability to effectively move around the cage. Adhere to all regulator, internal controls, policies and procedures. Follow directions from Lead Cashier and above. Ability to print and write legibly. Accurately complete all cashier paperwork. Accurately process Fast Cash Ticket Redemption. Accurately perform check cashing transactions. Process slot taxable jackpots, quick pays and no I.D. jackpots. Complete reserve and emergency coin fills as needed. Thorough knowledge of paid in/out policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned by Lead Cashier and above. Attention to detail. Willing to learn and be adaptable. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently. Be aware and maintain a timely order for breaks as needed. Ability to accurately identify and cash different denominations of gaming tokens, currency, chips, etc. Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, subordinates and all levels of employees. Knowledge of AS/400 computer system, Microsoft Word/Excel, currency and coin counters, 10-key, and PC (EDT systems). Understanding of property and department policies and procedures. Accounting background helpful. High school education or equivalent. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds. Work around moving equipment and non-toxic chemicals. Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items. Exposure to second hand smoke. Willing to work various shifts and days off.
