Position Description

SRC is seeking talented engineering interns and/or scientist interns in a wide variety of disciplines to support our Advanced Technology Initiatives Program. The ATI Program targets some of the most critical and challenging problems facing our customers. In targeting these challenge problems, ATI projects focus on revolutionary advances in new technologies and solutions, rather than evolutionary advances in existing technologies and solutions.

Responsibilities

* Work on highly collaborative ATI project teams in a results-oriented, applied research and development environment
* Interact with subject matter experts and technology professionals from operational programs to identify and characterize problems, produce and demonstrate innovative solutions, and help to transition research results to operational programs
Position Requirements

* Background in biotechnology, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, RF engineering and/or physics
* Specific areas of expertise to include bio-metrics, geospatial analysis, RF systems and analysis, RF and IR sensors, audio signal processing, cognitive agents and mathematical modeling
* Minimum of two years of college completed
* Minimum grade point average of 3.3/4.0.
