Job Title: Video Sales Specialist

Reports To: Director, Product Management

Location: New York, NY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Video Sales Specialist will:
Support existing sales teams, both US and internationally, towards annual revenue goals by providing product, marketplace and technical expertise
Identify opportunities for product packages and lead sales effort into new video market spaces
Play a pivotal role as video evangelist and advocate of the potential of video advertising across platforms, particularly in the online space
Maintain sales and marketing collateral for video, appropriate to different client types and new market spaces as they are identified
Serve as key driver towards industry studies and collaborative projects around video advertising effectiveness and sales impact studies for online video ROI

QUALIFICATIONS

A highly confident sales professional with a proven track record of sales and/or sales support
At least 3 years publisher or agency experience in the online video/ new media space
Strong relationships and understanding of business challenges and needs within online video industry publishers, agencies, video advertising networks and independent content producers
First hand familiarity with how online video is sold and monetized and passion to keep abreast of new online video advertising formats and their optimal uses/practical CPM and sales strategies
Familiarity with Video Metrix and other video related research and analytics services
Technical competency and understanding of basic video player technology, video syndication and popular file formats and protocols
A relentless work ethic and a desire to go the extra mile
A curious and interested mind that enjoys challenging projects and simplifying complexity
