Job Objective:
Perform plant maintenance, corrective & preventive maintenance, and
troubleshooting activities on all systems - electrical, pneumatic,
mechanical, instrumental, hydraulic, etc. Operate the coating process with
process operator on-shift when not performing maintenance.

Essential Functions:
- Assist process operator(s) in running the process, maintaining inventory,
and troubleshooting when not performing maintenance duties
- Control process via control system to keep process running in-spec.
- Maintain work areas per housekeeping standards.
- Complete paperwork associated with process operation.
- Maintain raw material, process chemical, and supply inventories as
necessary
- Load product into customer trucks and complete necessary documentation
- Perform maintenance activities to all plant process equip, forklifts,
storage tanks & plumbing, conveyors, Trackmobile, etc.
- Complete paperwork associated with maintenance documentation.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

- Performs the primary thinking called for and encompassed by the overall
job description.
- Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required
by the immediate supervisor.
- Adheres to Company policies and work requirements.
Education / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical Trade School Certification
- Tank entry, some climbing, night call-ins, on-call responsibility, PC
Skills
- Welding experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting skills
- Understand mechanical safety practices
- Millwright experience
- Pipefitting & electrical knowledge

Special Requirements:
Physical: Walking, driving, standing, lifting, sitting, carrying,
pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching,
fingering, talking, hearing, seeing. Aptitudes: Must possess the ability
to understand the meaning of words and their ideas, as well as instructions
and their underlying principles. Perform arithmetic operations quickly and
accurately and possess eye-hand motor coordination. Temperaments: Must
have the ability to accept responsibilities, perform duties under stress,
adapt to situations requiring preciseness and adapt to changing duties and
responsibilities. Must be able to adapt to situations involving the
interpretation of feelings, ideas, or facts; be able to influence people in
the opinions, attitudes or judgments; and be able to generalize, evaluate,
make decisions and perform repetitive work.
