The Product Enhancement Team provides the unique opportunity to be part of a fast-pace product development team with regular customer interaction. We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join our team of Automation Experts. The ideal candidate will have a superior ability to design, architecture, develop and debug complex software projects, demonstrate outstanding technical leadership and possess strong communication skills.Responsibilities include:Specify design, develop, test and document software and firmware for new products.Debug, test, maintain, improve and document software and firmware for existing products.Work closely with engineering leaders to examine newer technologies and influence system architecture and design.Provide technical assistance and communication to field teams and customers in order to resolve field issues. Job requirements:5-7 years experience in C/C++ programmingexperience with object oriented programming and design patternsWorking knowledge of Windows Operating System and Windows software development toolsExperience with STL and MFCExperience working on large software projects involving design patterns, concurrent development and version controlWorking knowledge of databases and SQLAbility to work collaboratively in team environmentsAbility to provide clear and concise oral and written communication of product concepts and engineering requirements, with various levels of details, both to engineers and non-engineersAbility to work with minimal supervision, identify problems, plan resolution, execute, communicate progress and ask for help when neededExcellent communication skillsDedication to getting the job doneDesired:knowledge of ATL and ActiveXHands-on robotics or automation experienceExperience in embedded software/firmware programming (C or assembly)Experience synthesizing and debugging systems involving hardware, electronics, firmware, and software.Education/Experience:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
