Effectively manage a technical team to ensure execution of product to Club Monaco standards and timelines.
* Lead and manage a technical team
* Execute Club Monaco quality and fit standards in partnership with Production, Merchandising and Design
* Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of all technical department activity and systems
* Assess, evaluate, and provide recommendations for new vendors for domestic and offshore production
* Ensure all vendors, factories and business associates adhere to the company's quality standards and operating and compliance guidelines
* Research and evaluate market seasonally for fit, construction, and quality to provide direction to technical team
* Communicate with other offices and various departments to provide necessary technical guidance to achieve product fit and quality
* Review previous seasons and establish new bodies and blocks to provide Technical team, Merchandising, and Design with seasonal fit direction
* Monitor quality concerns, testing procedure, and production problems to provide solutions and recommendations
* Keep up to date with industry developments ie. New fabrics, construction materials, new techniques, processing
* Ensure the company quality standards are competitive thru market assessment and evaluation
* Assist with departmental expense control
