Impact & Scope Kaplan's San Jose Center is seeking a Student Advisor who will be the first point of contact for Kaplan students and is responsible for advising, counseling, and servicing students both in person and over the phone. The Student Advisor will also contribute to the growth of Kaplanıı s business through consultative sales with prospective students. Business Strategy: Customer Service, Product Knowledge & Operational Controls Provide excellent and enthusiastic service to students in the center and over the phone Advise students on Kaplanıı s courses and services, as well as testing and admissions timelines, and assess studentsıı needs to provide solutions Use a consultative sales approach with prospective students Conduct service calls to current students Enter class attendance and maintain all class files Scan tests and process results Manage center inventory and materials ordering Assemble class start and marketing materials Process student enrollment transactions Coordinate facility maintenance and manage in-center technology Ensure center compliance with national policies and procedures Manage the center calendar and room scheduling Resolve student service issues while keeping best interests of Company at forefront Measurements (including, but not limited to) ACE Recommendation Rate Center P&L Audit results (e.g. compliance in systems and employee files) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills High energy level, confident, and optimistic demeanor with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment Good problem solving and creative thinking skills and ability to handle numerous details Team player with a diligent work ethic Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Results focused with a passion for customer service and business results Requirements 1+ years experience in operations, customer service, or administration Bachelorıı s degree preferred Ability to work extended hours, as communicated by manager, in order to meet business objectives Must be authorized to work in the United States see job description
