Candidate must be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications, communicate effectively with ATC and contractors. Accurately test soils, concrete and asphalt following ATC directives and standards; accurately record test results; perform all job functions within ATC safety guidelines. This position will physically be located in Evansville, IN..Candidates should possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license, safe driving record, dependable transportation, ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions; reasoning, mathematical and language skills (read, write and speak acceptable business English), interpersonal communication skills; physical strength, stamina and dexterity to lift/move seventy (70) pounds, stoop, bend and stand throughout the course of 10/hr. work day in varying weather conditions at various remote construction sites with varying terrain.
