Duties:

SUPERINTENDENT II Assigned to a field construction organization in a supervisory capacity. Responsible for supervising and directing operations within assigned discipline or area. Supervises and directs craft activities, subordinate superintendents and others, as assigned. Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. Performs general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions. On a large project; coordinates and directs multi-discipline craft activities within a specific area of the project, or all related crafts of a single discipline covering one or more areas of the project. On a medium-sized project, coordinates and directs multi-discipline craft activities within a specific area of the project, or all related crafts of a single discipline covering one or more areas of the project. Provides back-up support to the Field Superintendent and/or Field Construction Manager. On a small-sized project, coordinates and directs construction installation activities for all disciplines in all areas. Assigned to the project team as a representative of the Construction functional group. Ensures that construction requirements are made known to the project team in a timely manner and obtains construction responses to the needs of other members of the project team. Performs duties under minimal direction by management. Develops and applies construction procedures which may be unique and innovative in nature to resolve complex and difficult problems which may arise. Individual will be responsible for execution planning of construction phase of the Wheatstone LNG Project focusing on construction facilities and utilities. Responsibilities will include planning and oversight of the construction jobsite facilities & utilities, as well as the construction village facilities, procurement and deployment, labor relations interfaces as necessary, manpower planning for construction facilities & utilities (indirects), mobilization planning and execution, site temporary facilities planning and set-up, input to and support the project cost estimate and schedule development, input and development of subcontract work scopes. Position will be located in the Houston office during the project FEED activities and ultimately transfer to the project site near Onslow, Australia. Family status relocation to the Houston office. Single status camp accommodation on project. Basic Job Requirements: 15+ years experience in direct-hire construction execution. 10+ years experience in craft supervision. International construction and camp status experience strongly desired. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Provide construction support during the FEED phase of the Wheatstone Downstream Project. Primary responsibility is to lead the construction effort in defining construction temporary facilities and utilities and work with engineering to develop supporting design deliverables.
