|
Team leader for full software development lifecycle execution on medium to large embedded/firmware projects. Serves in support of larger teams, for complete software development lifecycle efforts including: * Supports generation of effective software requirements from system-level functional requirements or software prototypes. * Supports generation of software prototypes from notional system-level functional requirements and concepts. * Supports detailed design development. * Code implementation and integration. * Definition and execution of testing approaches. * Supports complete software life cycle documentation. * Supports software integration and test approach for a complete software development effort. * Generates individual assigned documentation for software development effort. * Tailors and enforces adherence to project specific software processes and procedures. * Execute detailed cost/schedule approach for assigned software development responsibilities. * Supports proposal efforts for highly complex software development. * Travel up to 25% may be required. * Performs other related duties as assigned. * keywords: information technology, I.T., IT, computer software, Microsoft technologies, jscript, asp, IIS 5.0, SQL Server 2000, Windows, Java, C++, C#, Microsoft .NET, network, networking, computers, computer* Bachelors or Masters degree in CS or engineering and 3-5 yrs+ work experience. * Development language expert ıı" C/C++, Ada 83/95, assembly. * Strong Software Architectural working knowledge using industry best practices including OOA/OOD. * Experience with multiple commercially available operating system bundles (such as Green Hills Integrity/Windows CE). * Strong working knowledge of embedded development, especially at the hardware level is required. * Highly skilled in integrating new and modified legacy code into a coherent product.
Desirable Skills: * A solid understanding of earned value, a strong business mind, forward thinking, and accustomed to making data-driven decisions. * Knowledge of information assurance and security engineering principals is strongly desired * In place of information assurance and security engineering background in-depth knowledge of other similar strict development processes such as RTCA DO-178B, or those associated with medical device development is required. * Solid communications skills. * Toolset experience: DOORs, Visual Source Safe, Vectorcast, etc. * US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance. * A stable work history.
