A prestigious Washington DC boutique firm with an excellent reputation is seeking a Litigation Paralegal. The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation, often times working independently on complex litigation matters from beginning to end. The law firm is centrally located and is steps from Metro. The law firm offers a great salary that is commensurate with experience, an excellent benefits package and an energetic, business-casual work environment.
Job Experience:
This Litigation Paralegal position requires at the absolute minimum 5 years of strong litigation paralegal experience with recent trial experience in a law firm setting. A 4-year college degree and/or a paralegal certificate are strongly preferred for this Litigation Paralegal position. The Litigation Paralegal candidate must be proficient in cite checking, e-filing, LiveNote, Concordance, Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. With adequate notice, this Litigation Paralegal position may require working extended hours and traveling out of town as needed. The successful Litigation Paralegal candidate must have initiative, proactive work ethic, be a strong team player and have exceptional organizational and file management skills.
