We presently have a need for a Clinical Psychologist at the Mental Health Branch Clinic at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC.
Duties include, but are not all inclusive:
- Provide services for the Wounded, Injured and Ill Warriors and in support of the Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury program. The program seeks to address gaps in the care available for the prevalent injuries among combatants from the global war on terrorism. - May also provide service at any of the Neurology and behavioral/mental health specialty clinic areas that are under the purview of and including Naval Hospital Beaufort, SC to meet patient demand. (All facilities are located within 30 miles of MCRD.)
- Services will normally be required Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30AM and 4PM.
Requirements: - Doctorate Degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited university. - Possess and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any one of the fifty states. - Possess a minimum of 1 year of full time experience within the preceding 3 years as a psychologist.
- Pertinent clinical experience within the past 2 years sufficient to demonstrate current clinical competency for the setting and procedures required by the task order.
