Raytheon Professional Services,LLC, located in Troy, Michigan is looking to add a dynamic Sr. Graphic Artist to our team. This position supports the development of instructional materials, primarily for various industries. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, illustratiion, technical drawings from reference materials, modifying existing graphics in Illustrator and photographs in Photoshop, creating and/or modifying Flash animations using ActionScript and XML. Occasionally requires documenting standards and processes. Must be organized and work well in a fast paced, team environment. Candidates must have superior communication skills - Ability to meet deadlines - Have a good understanding of typography / motion graphics and experience in developing design solutions from concept to production. - Ideal candidates have previous experience in a graphics production environment, with Strong knowledge of image editing and design in 2 dimensional animation. - The successful candidate should be fluent in Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects. E xperience working with large product teams to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training is required. Candidate will have demonstrated team skills including ability to integrate and partner with other groups and organizations. Required Skills: -A minimum of 4 years of experience - Strong illustration skills, ActionScript & XML knowledge a must. -Strong PhotoShop, Flash, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Web Design -Excellent design skills -Detail oriented -Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment. Desired Skills: .Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash MX, with demonstrated ability to produce complex, synchronized animations.
