State of California Department of Consumer Affairs.Minimum Qualifications (required)Within 90 days of employment must complete the required training in Attitudes and Communication Techniques - Scripps Mercy Aggression Reduction Training (ACT SMART). Within 1 year of employment must complete California State Guard Card through Bureau of Security and Investigative Services and Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) through International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety Must be bondable and have a California driver's license. Must be able to stand for several hours at a time. BLS Certification from the American Heart Association for the Healthcare Provider required by date.
