Position Description

Based in Redwood City, the Paralegal/Contracts Administrator will support the Legal Department by assisting with the review, processing and negotiation of confidentiality agreements/NDAs, and other contract administration matters, including the coordination of signatures, filing, and uploading contract files and related correspondence and the populating of legal templates.

The Paralegal/Contracts Administrator will work independently but collaboratively as part of a small and fast-paced Legal Department. The scope of this position may expand, with advancement opportunities within the company depending on the right candidate.

Position Requirements

•At least 5+ years of direct experience with NDAs/Confidentiality Agreements and similar business agreements.
•In-House Legal Department experience required.
•Experience working with an International Sales and Business team.
•Ability and commitment to meet Legal Department turnaround times for agreement review and comment.
•Flexibility with office and working hours.
•Organization skills and ability to juggle numerous agreements under pressure.
•Ability to following contract guidelines, exception approval procedures, and having the judgment to exercise individual discretion when needed.
•Prior experience in a hi-tech/software technology environment.
•Experience in intellectual property matters and IPR best practices.
•Superior language written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, dynamic and highly team-oriented.
•Commitment to professionalism and collegiality is required.
