Location: Washington, D.C. Hours, days and salary to be arranged. Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess at least a current Secret level security clearance. Under close supervision the candidate will transcribe and/or translate source material from Chinese to English and/or English to Chinese, both printed and audio, and assists in the review and analysis of translated foreign language source material. The candidate will work as part of a team of linguists supporting law enforcement operations. Bachelors's degree or equivalent native language experience (Chinese/Mandarin) and zero to two years of relevant language experience. Must posses native or near native proficiency in Chinese, typically a minimum of 3/3 on the DLPT or equivalent test. This is a great opportunity to get involved in homeland security.
