Position in support of a Federal Agency's enterprise program to relocatie personnel and missions from numerous Washington Metropolitan Area legacy campuses to a consolidated campus. The program is responsible for planning and executing the deployment of personnel and missions, and has a secondary duty to support Government Increment Program Leads with management of incremental deploymentts. The Deployment Lead position supports the former function. This position is responsible for deployment planning and execution of increments. Works with Federal Customer Key Component representatives to build increment-specific deployment execution plans. Conducts walkthroughs, surveys, and briefings to support data collection and communications. Coordinates with Deployment Lead, Escort Liaison, and Moving Company Coordinator on deployment logistics requirements. Responsible during deployments for asset management and successful mission deployment. Provides convoy leadership, chase vehicle (personnally owned vehicle; mileage reimbursable), and transportation security support as required. Responsible for conducting after-action analysis and feedback into deployment planning cycle. The Deployment Lead for each increment will be responsible for coordinating and staffing Welcome Office activities for assigned Increments. Valid driver's license and frequent travel between Federal Customer Washington Metropolitan Area sites is required. Up to 50% weekend work required from Jan 2011 - Sep 2011.

Position period of performance is January 4, 2010 through September 30, 2011. Expiration date may move further out depending on status of deployment execution. Candidate will be required on some weekends during deployment execution to drive personally owned vehicle as chase vehicle for moving trucks. Mileage is reimbursable for this local travel.

Required
18+ Years with HS or 14+ Years with AA or 12+ Years with BS or 10+ Years with MS or 7+ Years with PhD
Strong organizational skills and knowledge of Federal security standars.

Desired
Intimate knowledge of Federal Customer mission and WMA campuses; applied knowledge of Federal security standards particularly as they apply to transportation of classified material.
