Take cocktail orders from guests in assigned station. Clean assigned station. Empty and clean ash trays. Adhere to all state and local liquor laws. Follow all company procedures involving gaming regulations. Must assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security or senior crew members. Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Must have a outgoing personality and a flexible schedule. Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board. Must be a minimum of 21years of age
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Occupy assigned station at scheduled time.
2. Take cocktail orders from guests in assigned station.
3. Clean assigned station.
4. Empty and clean ash trays.
5. Adhere to all state and local liquor laws.
6. Follow all company procedures involving gaming regulations.
7. Must assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security or senior crew members.
8. Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
PHYSICAL - Must be able to:
1. Stand or walk for long periods of time.
2. Tolerate smoky, dimly lit and noisy environment.
3. Tolerate large crowds.
4. Must be able to see.
5. Hear. Can be augmented with a hearing aid.
6. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 (fifteen) pounds.
7. Climb steps repeatedly.
MENTAL - Must be able to:
1. Work accurately with basic math.
2. Accurately handle and count large sums of cash and coin.
3. Communicate verbally, clearly and articulately.
4. Read, write and comprehend.
5. Understand and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, and other instructions.
6. Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
PREREQUISITES/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Minimum 2 year experience as a cocktail server. Must have a outgoing personality and a flexible schedule.
GAMING:
Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.
