Loss Prevention Specialist


The Loss Prevention and Safety specialist are responsible for assisting Lowe's Companies Inc. in being the 'low cost operator' in the home improvement industry, and adding profits to the bottom line.
An / LPS's performance is reviewed primarily on achieving their location's assigned inventory shrink goal and combined accident frequency rate goal. A strong focus on internal theft and operational shrink is essential in achieving the inventory shrink goal. This focus includes implementing proactive measures to prevent shrink as well as conducting investigations and making recoveries when shrink is identified.
All internal and external theft cases must be investigated and resolved in accordance with Corporate Loss Prevention Department policy.
Demonstrated control or reductions in shortage and accidents in previous assignments


* Must posses effective written and verbal communication skills
* Must posses a demonstrative ability in the areas of employee theft investigation and interviewing
* Basic working knowledge of retail policies and procedures
* Willing to work holidays, weekends and flexible hours
* Must have some experience in using physical security systems and conducting audits
