The Project Manager position is a multi-tasking position requiring business acumen, coordination skills, and supervisory competence to effectively and efficiently manage the progression and ultimate completion of projects. The Project Manager is tasked with validating technical performance criteria, material costs, value engineer, managing labor within estimated hours, performing project re-estimates, ordering equipment, tracking deliveries, returns, and credits, processing billings, creating schedule of values, forecasting current months labor and materials and handling all project documentation and close outs. A Project Manager may manage multiple projects at any given time, which will range from small to multi-million dollar contracts. The Area of responsibility for this position will be: New York City - 5 Boroughs.

Experience:5 Education Standard:BS Education Type:Engineering * Create, modify and manage project schedules & budgets to achieve project margin targets, project timelines and increase overall customer satisfaction (develop and execute workaround and recovery plans, justifications and budgets as needed) * Define and specify externally sourced project specific equipment while managing engineering subcontractors producing project specific designs * Manage installations of access control, CCTV, intercom, network, and other products that IR may offer * Provide application and installation consultation to customers and ensure customer understands installation requirements * Actively manage customer expectations, openly and professionally discussing project issues with the customers * Manage technical responses to customer inquiries, as well as, managing customer change orders * Initiate and manage change orders to cover and increase revenue as needed * Maintain and red line drawings in detail to provide accurate record of installation * Ensure technicians are trained in all applicable/required safety regulations and provide a clear daily plan for technicians to follow If you share our passion for inspiring progress-for bringing about bold shifts in how people, economies and societies operate-then you belong with Ingersoll Rand.
