The Security Supervisor will manage the implementation and operation of the Pharmacy Security Program. In addition, the Security Supervisor will assist, as required, in providing leadership to the security officers and any other department program personnel.
Supervise Security Officers and their activities to achieve attainment of the protection plan by implementing schedules, post orders and objectives, to achieve all related security and business goals. Assist in the measurement and monitoring of security equipment operations and up-time performance. Conduct detailed investigations of all reported criminal offenses and violations of company policy. Coordinate escalation of security issues, including submission of Perspective incident reports, to Medco Global Security and the Special Investigations Unit. Interact with other departments to insure compliance to established standards and to achieve overall pharmacy objectives.
Requirements:
High School Diploma with minimum five (5) years of work experience in industrial security, law enforcement, or product distribution perferably in a supervisory role. Familiarity with pharmacy operations, to include mail-service operations, a plus. PC skills a plus (Ability to operate Security systems, MS Excel, MS Work, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
