Client strives to create a rich and stimulating work climate to help employees develop their skills and advance their career- team environments designed to promote and reward individuality, innovation, leadership, and strong business results based on a solid understanding of the global organization.Position OverviewAs a Change Agent, the Master Black Belt will be required to cultivate relationships (at the most senior levels) and establish a network of allies (at all levels) that will inspire and drive the rigor, value and benefits of Continuous Improvement throughout the organization.RequirementsMinimum of a Bachelors Degree7 -10 years of experience as a certified Master Black Belt required with proven results3+years of experience of other Continuous Improvements methodologies such as Lean.Must have Six Sigma/Lean experience within a manufacturing environmentMust have a minimum of 5 years as a working Black Belt in manufacturing with project experienceMinimum of 5 + years experience training and certifying Black Belts.Respected and trusted leader with a proven track record of achievement, solid management skills and a reputation as a leader of changeProven leadership skills, project management skills and business acumen performance drivenExcellent training and presentation skills with solid oral and written communication capabilitiesExcellent understanding of analytical tools and statistics, capable of explaining the theoretical derivations of probability and statisticsStrong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with other leaders on sensitive and/or emotional issuesCombines aggressive initiative with professional discipline to accomplish difficult tasks through othersDemonstrates a keen desire to continually learn and grow…motivated by successes.Must be able to travel up to 80% to 5-6 manufacturing facilities with in a geographical area/cluster.Candidate must have prior experience successfully leading and mentoring large groups of BB (30 60 Black Belts).Additional InformationInteract and influence at all levels within the plants and corporate.Will work across one or more Business Unit, i.e. Beverages, Cheese & Dairy, Grocery, Pizza and/or Snacks.Lead and train the Six Sigma training program within their assigned geographic cluster (5-6 manufacturing facilities).Plan, support and conduct training to others in Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belts, Green Belts, Champions, etc)Mentor Black Belts…coach and guide projects to accelerate execution and completionLead Master Black Belt projects through all business unitsIdentify and scope new projects.Provide assistance and be a resource to Black Belts, Green Belts, Champions, functional departments, and business units in identifying, planning and implementing Six Sigma projects.Level of Self-Directed Work - Consistently demonstrates the ability to act independently, prioritize, and influence others on a regular basis to drive Six SigmaProvide senior management with updates regarding deployment progress, results and feedback pertaining to key responsibilities and objectives. Organizational relationships: Regularly meets with Continuous Improvement (CI) Managers and CI Directors to develop future projects to meet Growth, Quality and Productivity needs of the Plant.Regularly meets with Plant Managers, CI Directors and CI Managers to develop projects and identify opportunities for processing improvements
