Our client is a well-established, specialty agency that offers a broad range of interactive solutions and services to medium and large companies, including Fortune 500 clients. They combine marketing strategy, analytics, design and enterprise-scale integration by creating breakthrough online advertising through multimedia, digital advertising and web development for their clients worldwide.Based in Houston, TX, they are currently seeking a Business Development Director to cultivate new business and identify opportunities within existing client relationships.Overview of accountabilities will be to:Pursue and qualify new leads; Respond to RFPs; pursue and qualify new business leads Provide client high-level strategic consulting and support Draft Proposals and provide accurate estimates for budgets and timelines in proposals Ensure all client contact information is communicated to Account Manager Participation and collaboration in all sales meetings, with weekly updates to VP of SalesAdhere to established sales and workflow processesHandle all aspects of pre-engagement activity and transition projects to Account ManagersRequired for this role:Bachelors degree and 8+ years RECENT experience at an advertising agency with interactive advertising and marketing campaign experience including web design (3D) / development, maximizing search engine dollars, and e-commerce consultingBackground selling large-revenue solutions to C level executives at Fortune 1000, Big Brand companies.Success building, managing and mentoring teams (direct and indirect reports)Specific background providing specialized services for the digital space, i.e. CD-ROMs, DVDs, and lifestyle devices (iPod, PSP, and mobile).Experience with interactive direct marketing and testing and back-end analytics desired. Compensation is a base salary of $100K plus bonus which is targeted to yield $200 - $250K, and relocation assistance package is offered.
