About the company :Global professional services organization with a significant presence in Boston. Job description :Key leadership position as the Head of Finance in a Global Professional Services firm that is keen to re-build their Finance function in the Boston area. Reporting to the CFO, the Head of Finance will hold the lead position in the planning and development of corporate financial value process. Other responsibilities: Long term planning - assist in the development of the long term and strategic plan for the business Annual Operating Plan (AOP) - Development of worldwide annual operating plan, including operations, assets & liability deployment, cash flows, etc. Update of AOP - quarterly (mid and late quarter) update of the AOP including all resources Business partnering responsibilities with key senior leadership within the business Management and Financial Reporting Leadership in the financial analysis of key functions within the operating Mergers & Acquisitions - assist in the corporate M&A process including pre-analysis of industry candidates, valuation, acquisition and implementation. Industry and competitor financial and operational benchmarking analysis Most importantly - drive and improve the corporate budget process Who we are looking for :Bachelors degree in Business/Economics/Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 10 years experience. While an MBA is not an absolute requirement it is strongly preferred. Candidates should have at least 5-7 years of senior leadership experience in a professional services (management consulting, accounting firm, engineering, legal, advertizing etc) setting. Should be strong with Business Objects/Cognos or similar programs as well as MS Excel. Whats on offer :Target base salary to $200k plus bonus; may consider slightly higher should the fit be exceptional.
