The Services Sales Manager (SSM) is accountable for leading a well-managed Services Sales team and business resulting in long-term, predictable revenue growth and satisfied Microsoft customers.The SSM is: The Sales coach who guides and develop the sales team/individuals in delivering outstanding results Provides an executive presence when dealing with key customers and partners. Accountable for all-up Services sales (team commitments and results) Responsible for attaining the agreed billed revenue targets in the assigned sales team accounts across all consulting/support services and offerings) Aligned with internal MS segments e.g. product teams, EPG etc, service line and delivery counterparts ensuring profitable delivery of services and high overall customer satisfactionSummary of Primary Job FunctionsResponsibility/Activity- Business: Recognizes team members strengths -strong sales team and account wins. Achieve + frequently surpass personal /team goals. - Customer segment growth y.o.y. Generate new revenue through current customer base. - Management: Ensure clear and measurable team commitments. Team reflects diversity. Use performance management process appropriately. Meet sales targets. Revenue forecast accuracy. - Manage areas of fiscal responsibility. Sales excellence + maximized customer face time - Integration: Generates a workgroup environment, that encourage X-group collaboration. - Leadership: Communicates vision, business direction, & sales team commitments. - Customer/Partner: Demonstrate and drive valuable customer partner interactions. Candidate ProfileQualificationsArea Qualification Description of Whats Needed 5 8 years of related experiencePeople Management and Coaching, Business Management, Sales Management, Team Leadership. A successful management track record of at least 5-8 years in leading team/s in a sales or services capacity is required. Education:Bachelors Degree (B.S./B.A.)MBA pref.Field of Study (if applicable): Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems Management. Professional Training and Certification Employee Performance Management (systems and processes), Sales Management, Complex Sales training (e.g., Miller Hyman, Spin, Michael Bosworth, Holden, TAS Target Account Selling, etc.), Sales Methodologies (equivalent to MSSP), broad evangelism through events (presentation skills), effective Marketing tactics, Negotiation, Contracting, Financial analysis, CRM (Siebel or other), IT Implementation (e.g. CMM and CMMI), IT Service delivery and Support (e.g. ITIL Foundation), Project Management fundamentals (e.g. PMI or equivalent) and Industry-specific certifications (as and if applicable).Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ConfidenceFluent in English and Spanish both in writting and conversationalCross-Boundary CollaborationDeveloping PeopleEnabling ChangeImpact and InfluenceInterpersonal AwarenessOptimizing Resources & BudgetsSetting Goals & Expectations
