We are currently looking for a Healthcare Implementation Technical Lead to join our team in Washington, DC. Job Responsibilities: The Technical Lead will provide project management for medium-size projects of medium complexity for applications development and implementation. They will lead a team of engineers through the project management processes and methodology. They will produce weekly status reports that track the progress of the project against detailed tasks, actual hours spent versus forecasted hours. They will work collaboratively with the client and client PMs. They will resolve issues at the lowest level possible; escalate in a timely fashion when necessary. Primary responsibilities include: Delivery of analysis, assessment, design, optimization, preparing / planning, transforming, sustaining and other relevant people, process and technology aspects related to client needs Leads small to mid-sized consulting engagements. Provides technical expertise, participates in strategic and operational decisions and assists with business development, practice development, and presentation activities Initiates planning discussions; identifies client business issues to produce most effective and efficient client solutions; develops relationships with key decision makers. Broad knowledge of application platforms, healthcare IT and HL7 Collaborates with customer decision makers to define and implement clinical/ business and information technology strategies. Formulates project plans and definition of activities and tasks; monitors and tracks plans to ensure desired results; administers project budgets, manages issue lists and coordinates communication with all project constituents Provides direction and support at all levels in an assigned team. Responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed. Teaches consulting skills and provides direction, coaching, guidance, support, and mentoring to project team to successfully guide team through project expectations and requirements. Maintains expected levels of utilization Required Skills: Experience in leading small teams to successful technology implementation in the healthcare environment Experience working with HL7 is essential Experience in .Net Experience in SQL Experience in healthcare information environment Excellent communication skills Desired Skills: PMP Certification Experience in the implementation of Microsoft technologies *Candidates must be willing to travel (25-30%) as client needs dictate.
