Using the nursing process, provide nursing care to help optimize outcomes in a clinic setting. Under the direction of the Physician, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care, collects data related to patient outcomes and responses, and implements patient care plans. The Licensed Practical Nurse works to improve communication with patients and families, nursing peers, and other members of the health care team, recognizing that effective relationship management is the foundation for positive patient outcomes. Education: Completion of an approved Practical Nurse program. Must be licensed in the State of Minnesota. Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification required. Experience: One to two years experience in patient care preferred. Knowledge of continuum of care and community health care services preferred.
