Senior Equipment Design Engineer
(Longmont, CO)
Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., a leading supplier of specialty gases & equipment, is seeking a Senior Equipment Design Engineer to be responsible for the coordination of manufacturing processes and documentation for the UHP equipment-manufacturing facility. Individual develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods and equipment design, utilizes knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality-control standards.
Requirements:-Mechanical or chemical engineering degree-Strong background in computer science-8+ years experience in design engineering or related field-Six Sigma certification a plus-Multi-year experience with mechanical and/or chemical processes,preferably in the area of UHP gas-handling equipment and/or related components-Strong communication skills & proficiency with MS Office software-Develop Sequence of operations tables-Proficiency with AutoCAD-Solids Modeling (lnventor/ProE/ME10) a strong plus-Knowledge of SEMI S2 and S22 standards-Knowledge of CE and other applicable standards-Willingness to travel as needed
