United Blood Services of Aberdeen is recruiting candidates for the Donor Care Specialist I position. Full time position requires 40 hours per week and part time requires 20-30 hours per week. Both are on a variable schedule with travel out of town overnight as needed. Some overtime is available. Our compensated on-the-job training program provides skills necessary to perform interviewing and phlebotomy of volunteer blood donors. Differential pay of 5% when working off site mobile blood drives and additional weekend differential are all included in our compensation package. Requires: HS grad./GED w/1 yr. previous work experience (or 6 mos. healthcare experience), clear speaking voice and legible handwriting. Ability to positively interact with donors and co-workers.
