Description:
Maintain safe environment and appropriate boundaries
with patients and staff.
Monitor and evaluate patient participation in patient
treatment activities.
Assist in providing therapeutic and/or recreational
activities.
Must comply with all competencies in a timely manner.
Performs daily patient care tasks, including feeding and
bathing patients, and cleans patient living areas which
may include soiled beds and floor area.
Performs basic housekeeping tasks required to maintain
patient living areas.
Ensures safety of patient at all times.
Ensures Patients Rights and Confidentiality are
maintained.
Promotes a positive working environment by demonstrating
respect and tolerance for age, gender, race and choice
of lifestyle.
Demonstrates required attendance and reliability.
Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all
times.
This is an on call/per diem position posting.
Requirements:
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or
equivalents.
Must have an active C NA license from the Nevada State
Nursing Board.
Previous experience with a psychiatric environment,
preferred.
