A manufacturer of critical cleaning detergents, is currently seeking a Science and Marketing Associate for their facility in the Long Island, New York area. You will be interfacing with outsource ad agencies, therefore, strong technical copy writing skills are needed, background in Chemistry highly preferred. Personality and technical Marketing background is key for this position. Responsibilities: -> Attend trade shows (such as INTERPHEX and Pittcon) and represent the company at its booth -> Excellent phone and scientific writing skills -> Tracking advertising, internet and email marketing results -> Correlating marketing activities with sales orders received -> Writing advertising copy for email newsletters, press releases and websites -> Occasional cleaning study or detergent quality assurance lab work Requirements: -> B.S. degree in Marketing, Chemistry, or a lab science -> Background in web and search engine optimization -> Keywords and phrase optimization -> Pay Per Click ads (PPC) and Campaigns -> Project Management Experience (major plus) -> Any of the following would be Major pluses: Pharmaceutical or Medical Device GMP background in Document Control, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), Audits, Quality Systems Regulation, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) training -> Client may consider a recent graduate with a good chemistry or lab science background but not the marketing experience; or a candidate with a strong marketing background with strong relevant experience in technical and scientific marketing Benefits: -> This position has the growth potential of a Director role -> Competitive Salary -> Health Insurance -> 401(k) Plan -> Vacation Package
