A-T Solutions, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for an experienced and qualified Weapons Technical Intelligence professional. This role will be a member of a 5 person cadre of WIT/C-IED Team instructors assigned on a rotational basis to support unit training exercises, ensuring deliverance of WIT/C-IED Team capabilities training to DOD installations. Travel to various DOD installations (CONUS/ OCONUS) is required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: On a rotational basis, work out of a field environment as a member of the Weapons Intelligence Team or Counter-IED Team supporting rotations at the US Army Combat Training Centers (CTCs) to include National Training Center (NTC) at Fort Irwin, CA, Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) at Fort Polk, LA, and the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) at Hohenfels, Germany. Coordinate with CTC Operations Groups to develop and integrate elemental threads into the RTU Mission Rehearsal Exercise (MRE) scenarios that will enable the employment and subsequent impact of Weapons Intelligence Teams. Maintain open lines of communication with TF Troy, TF Paladin, and WIT schoolhouse at Ft. Huachuca, AZ, to ensure WIT tactics relevancy. Research latest Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) in Iraq and Afghanistan regarding IED employment and C-IED practices. Maintain and update all WIT/C-IED lessons learned. Coach and mentor Special Weapons Exploitation Teams (SWET) organic to rotational units. Ensure all elements within rotational units are familiar with capabilities and requirements of WIT employment. Instruct EOD elements on proper collection, handling, and processing of IED evidence after scenario events. Identify mission support requirements for integration of WIT/C-IED Teams at CTC. Prepare valuable After Action Reports upon the completion of rotations in order to identify weaknesses within the rotational units employment and dissemination of WIT/C-IED assets. Coordinate with JCOE, JATAC M/T Program WIT/C-IED Coordinator; develop a schedule for the introduction and integration of WIT/C-IED teams at CTCs. Develop measures of effectiveness that will enable CTC to evaluate R/BCT employment of SCIED (WIT/C-IED). Observe operational training conducted during the day or night at training facilities. Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Successful candidates will have a practiced knowledge, and demonstrated skills and abilities in the areas of WEAPONS TECHNICAL INTELLIGENCE (WTI) derived from the technical and forensic exploitation of captured or found explosive devices, associated components, and weapons. Understanding the contemporary formation, capabilities and limitation of WIT or C-IED teams in the collection, analysis, and fusion of WTI. Also requires periodic attendance at WTI conferences. Communicating clearly and effectively with students in the English Language. Understanding of the IEDs, their construction, associated tactics for employment to include methods of initiation and component parts. Performing effectively in a work environment of everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of office and operational field settings to include the use of commercial and government vehicles such as planes, trains buses or automobiles. Understanding of WIT and C-IED Team organization and employment.Education and Experience: Successful candidates will meet, at a minimum, one or more of the following criteria. Recent instructional ability and experience. Battlefield Forensics or similar training. Recent WIT/C-IED Team deployment to theater of operations preferred, specifically Iraq or Afghanistan. Certifications and Other Qualifications Strong professional mental and physical bearing expected that will positively impact service members at all levels.
