YAI/The National Institute for People with Disabilities is an award-winning, nationally acclaimed network of not-for-profit health and human services agencies dedicated to building brighter futures for people with developmental disabilities of all ages and their families. We serve individuals, families, and communities in the NYC metropolitan area, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, and Sullivan Counties within New York State. In-Home Residential Habilitation Specialists

Work one-on-one with individuals with developmental/learning disabilities teaching basic life skills, acting as an advocate in the community, and providing informal counseling. Work full-time with one or more individuals, in the late afternoon and evening hours in locations throughout Manhattan.

Requirements- BA preferred & related experience with the MR/DD population required.
