Position Summary:

Looking for a dynamic, best-in-class Senior Business Intelligence professional who will enjoy working in a fast-paced and innovative organization.
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing the business intelligence solution for the company.
The company Business Intelligence platform consists of Oracle databases and Cognos 8 BI.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As an expert in business intelligence methodologies and processes, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer will:
? Work with business analysts and end users in Commercial, HR, Finance groups to understand reporting requirements and translate to reporting solutions;
? Design, develop, and deploy Cognos 8 metadata models, reports, and dashboards of all levels of complexity;
? Support BI user community by providing subject matter expertise, training, and best practices in development techniques;
? Ensure a high degree of data quality by applying industry standards and best practice to design, development, and testing;
? Support daily operations including job monitoring, troubleshooting, and financial/sales/workforce data analysis;
? Support project planning activities including determining the feasibility, level of effort, timing, and scheduling of project tasks;
? Understand and practice SDLC methodologies.

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFCATIONS

3 years demonstrated experience in Cognos ReportNet or Cognos 8 BI development;
2 years experience developing models in Cognos Framework Manager;

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5-7 years with experience in all aspects of Cognos 8
Solid Oracle SQL skills;
Highly detail-oriented with strong data analysis and problem solving skills;
