Molecular Informatics Tools External Partnerships Lead for their Boston,
MA facility.- The Molecular Informatics department at Boston, seeks a talented,
self-motivated scientist with skills in developing and translating genomic,
proteomic, and genetic data analysis and visualization methods into effective
software to help define and execute MRL software tool portfolio strategy
to support translational medicine and genomic discovery efforts. The successful
candidate will interact closely with biologists, chemists, analysts and
clinical stakeholders to understand key informatics needs in the area of
genomics, proteomics, genetics, medical informatics and integrative data
analysis and will work with external software vendors including Microsoft
to provide solutions to these needs which complement internal software
development efforts.Primary Responsibilities include: ? Serve as the product
manager for the Microsoft Amalga LifeScience platform. Interact with franchise
and functional scientists to identify and prioritize data integration
and analysis requirements, including integration with clinical data types.
Define use cases and key needs, prioritize novel features and content enhancements
and work with Microsoft personnel to collaboratively address these needs.?
