accountabilities:?A Back/Middle Support position providing System Support,
User Support, Change Control, Recovery Management and Capacity Planning
for Trade, Position, Cash, Reporting, Settlement, Payment, Price Systems
and intraday and batch.Key Objectives:?This role requires strong problem
solving skills, user support, good interpersonal skills, the ability to
work under pressure, the provision of on call support out of hours and
good communication skills. The candidate must be highly motivated and
understand the nature of support.Qualifications:?Desirable:- Degree in
IT related disciplineSkills & Experience?1-2 years experience of working
with large office applications and systems support. Demonstrable ability
to pick up new concepts & systems quickly. Attention to detail.?Note. This
is not a developer role or a PC desktop support role?Previous Banking experience.
Experience of co-ordinating multiple groups. On-call experience. Understanding
of the different trade types, position keeping, P&LKnowledge Required:?Essential:-
Unix, Basic Perl/Korn shell scripting, version control. Office tools such
as Excel, Word and Project. NT server experience?Desirable:- Solaris. Understanding
of SUN/Unix Hardware, h/w redundancy, basic disk pri
