Department: Health Information Management
Maintains and ensures data integrity of the SMS/EAD database. Performs updates and revisions using SMS as well as related systems to ensure that patients medical record number, account number and visits are correct. Acts as liaison between hospital facility, Registration, Coding, Information Services, Patient Care Services and Health Information Management. Provides education and training on EAD functions.
Education:
High school graduation or equivalent. Continuing education in I.S. systems and applications related to registration coding activities preferred.
Experience:
Three years H.I.M. experience with two years of database management.
Skills:
Excellent keyboarding and organizational skills. Sound knowledge of hospital patient identification issues. Part Time Day
