Job Summary:Applies and audits charges against medical record documentation. Will apply appropriate CPT codes, modifiers and other APC related data to appropriately reflect correct level of care and reimbursement. Will work with multiple departments and disciplines to achieve appropriate documentation for services rendered.
Minimum Education/Training:LPN/RN in the State of Michigan with revenue cycle experience or certified RHIT/RHIA or CCS.
Preferred Experience:Three to five years coding experience with CPT-4. Experience with charge application and outpatient revenue cycle processes.

Phyiscal Requirements:Frequent and prolonged sitting.Occasional stooping, squatting and kneeling. Extensive work at computer console.
Other Requirements: PTA Days
