MINIMUMSKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION A. Requirements 1. Completion of an accreditedMasters Program in Social Work with Clinical Social Work licensure by theCalifornia Board of Behavioral Sciences preferred. 2. Requires 2-5 yearsexperience in healthcare related setting with patient population in area ofservice. 3. Requires advanced communication skills to communicate effectivelywith patients, hospital staff, physicians and the community. Must be able tofluently speak, read, write and understand English. 4. Knowledgeable ofcommunity resources with discharge planning experience preferred 5. Two years ofrecent acute hospital experience strongly preferred. 6. Requires flexibility andstrong self motivation/organizational skills to prioritize work and makedecisions with minimal supervision. 7. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. 8.Requires computer experience/literacy as needed for the job. 9. Must be able toperform the physical requirements of the position as defined by the RU-91 form.10. Requires a courteous and cooperative service-oriented demeanor. PreferredQualifications: Bilingual with Spanish skills. Demonstrates working knowledge ofcomputer applications, i.e. Microsoft Office and e-mail.
