Within this position, you will provide peer supervision for other staff, education for social work interns and assist with program planning and organization of services. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies as outlined in unit specific competency assessment tools. Demonstrate age specific care as established for a Clinical Social Worker in assigned area.*HJBasic Qualifications (required)Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited university or college (MSW).Minimum Qualifications (required)Must be able to demonstrate position-required behaviors in fulfillment of the organization's mission.Must be able to display good working relationships with patients, families, medical and nursing personnel, and all others employed at the hospital. Working knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies and appeal procedures as relative to the Federal, State and other reimbursement programs. Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to respond quickly to large amounts of sensory stimuli, listening, assessment, and diagnostic skills.Preferred QualificationsLicensure by State of California Behavioral Science Examiners Board as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred. Acute Care Hospital experience preferred.Must be available for on-call after hours. Clinical hospital experience. Must be able to work non-traditional hours during work week for this position.
