Systems Integration & Development, an IT solutions provider located in Rockville, Maryland is currently seeking a Lean Six Sigma Consultant to develop quality assurance policies and procedures based on Lean Six Sigma best practices and standards. The successful candidate will have a solid background working on and managing projects in an enterprise level environment. The person will be expected to provide as many available hours as possible towards this effort. This position will be based out of Rockville, MD, but telecommuting may also be available. Skill and experience requirements are as follows:
Experience:
10 years experience working on IT projects including at least 3-4 years working with Lean Six Sigma.
Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Skills:
Experience developing quality assurance policies for an enterprise level help desk.
Experience gathering business requirements to establish SLAs.
Experience setting up, managing, and controlling SLAs.
Proven ability to manage large team(s) including planning activities and coordinating support coverage for periods of absence.
Experience with earned value methodologies to control the execution of the task, monitoring progress, status reporting, resolving critical issues, and planning for subsequent phases of work.
Ability to recommend changes in procedures and processes to improve service delivery.
Requires extensive knowledge of industry standards.
Certifications:
Required ? Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
