The qualified candidate will be familiar with vibration thermodynamics analysis and applications, HNI theory and usage a plus. Strong commitment to team projects and deadlines is required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Knowledge, Skills amp; Abilities Required: Requires thorough understanding of the operational characteristics and biasing configurations of analog, digital, discreet amp; passive. Able to design, construct amp; document new programs regarding vibration, lube oil friction analysis, vibration analysis and trending failure modes. Computer skills to include: MS Word, Excel, Access amp; generic CAD. Excellent written amp; verbal communication skills. Ability to work within a team environment and to train and direct the work of others as well as ability to work independently. Qualifications: BSEE or BSME Degree required. 5+ years of Plant Engineering experience. Experienced senior level Vibration Engineer Specialist with 10+ years direct technical experience in setting up and running complex vibration analysis. Must have an excellent mechanical background with extensive hands-on use of vibration equipment. Experience in lube oil analysis and recommendations regarding varnishing, viscosity, emulsification and corrective means of recovery. Understanding of ISO 9001 quality system requirements. Experience operating Network amp; Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Signal Sources, Amplifiers, Oscilloscopes amp; Digital Multi-meters. Strain Gage application a plus.
