Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Senior (or Lead) Mechanical Engineer with a design background in Power Generation projects (non-nuclear). This position is located in Boise, ID. You need to have 15 years of facility and industrial design with 5 years in Power Plant design. Great benefits including relocation assistance. Pay negotiable depending on experience. Responsibilities: -> Act as Lead Mechanical Design Engineer for Power Generation (fossil/geothermal) projects -> Develop or direct others in the development of PandIDs, equipment specifications, material requisitions, data sheets, equipment arrangements, 3D equipment models, pipe routing and other engineering for power generation facilities -> You will be responsible for technical writing; sizing/selecting equipment and piping specialties for systems; reviewing vendor submittals; supporting and coordinating with other engineering disciplines as needed -> Provide supervision and mentoring to other engineers and designers Requirements: -> BSME, and PE registration in one or more states -> 15 years of facility and industrial system design with a minimum of 5 years in power plant design -> Knowledge of mechanical systems design, PandIDs, and power plant equipment -> Knowledge of ASME B31.1, NFPA and other codes -> Advanced knowledge in turbine and boiler equipment and system requirements Benefits: -> Paid Vacation -> 401K -> Health Insurance, and more...
