MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN RESORT SALES OR HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE! Must also be able to work in fast paced environment with high volume of clients. Time management and multi-tasking skills a must, as well as ability to communicate effectively with team members, to support the overall success of the department, and in relation to efforts to sell competitively against other four and five diamondstar properties. Must also have ability to set and accomplish goals that meetexceed expectations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, direct solicitation on accounts, direct solicitation calls on potential new accounts, active solicitation in the re-booking of established customers, development of special promotions or packages and submitting recommendations to the Director of Sales for reviewapproval, participation in industry and civic organizations representing opportunities for business, arrangingconducting site inspections with clients, including entertaining to showcase the resort. Position will also interact with other departments throughout the resort in arranging accommodations, services and special events for booked clients.
